This mexican rebozo is hand woven, using the ancient pedal loom technique by Tlaxcala artisans in Mexico, using non stretch 100% cotton thread, that is very soft, flexible (no need to break it in) and breathable. Hours of work are involved in creating this piece to acquire right pattern and lenght. Rebozos have been used in Mexico as a piece of clothing, to carry children, as aid in natural birth, for doula massage, rebozo manteada, an sealing ceremony. .
