We’re releasing a new fabric tape! We’ve had quite a few people ask us if we recommend using our tape on delicate fabrics, like thin silk, chiffon, and lace. We can now say absolutely! Use our new Fearless Delicate Fabric Tape for a gentle hold on gauzy fabrics.
This double-sided tape has a really cool design because it’s a different tape on each side. You can tell them apart because the side that has the liner without print has been specifically designed to work with delicate fabrics without damaging them. This side of the tape has been designed to have a strong hold, but peel off super easily making it gentle enough to use on flimsy fabrics. The tape side that adheres to the skin gives a durable hold while still being comfortable on the skin all day.
We’re so excited about this new tape because it’s perfect for using on any delicate fabric and it won’t tear the material while you’re removing the tape. Delicate Fabric Tape is very low residue, so it won't leave a bunch of adhesive gunk on your clothes once you’ve taken the tabs off. Remember, as with all of our Fearless Tapes, we always recommend performing a patch test on an area of the fabric that isn’t visible and obvious. We want to protect your clothes and make sure that your favorite piece of clothing isn’t left with a permanent sticky patch. How to Use:
Once you open your Delicate Fabric Tape envelope and have a tab ready to go, find the side with the printed liner. That side has a tape that’s meant to go towards your skin. The liner side without print is the tape that’s meant to attach to the delicate fabric. Just apply the printed liner side of the tape to your body where you’d like the fabric to stick, then peel off the unprinted liner side and press your clothing item onto the tape.
